Whats legal pot, chopped liver? The sun is a bummer during winter, but during the summer its not uncommon to have 16-17 hours of daylight which totally makes up for it. The progs usually keep it to the I-5 corridor and (at least where Im at) most people lean towards leaving you alone. Some other pros: No mosquitos, no humidity, great steelhead fishing, and 30 minutes to a ski resort.
