can you comment?
At first I got a message that comments were disallowed.
You aren’t the droid Fidel is looking for.
Why did he change shirts before walking in the door? Where did he put his other shirt?
In the second frame he’s just holding a cardboard sign in front of his shirt that he discreetly keeps wedged between his ass cheeks.
Because you never know when you’ll need to social signal.
His shirt assumes I want to hug children. I don’t.
Also, is that Bill Cosby on his first shirt?
I thought it was Schumer, cause it looks exactly like him.
It looks like a Chuck Schumer shirt – which is pretty damn funny.
Yep, it’s Moobz fer sure.
I see it now.
Maybe he came back later. Stop poking holes, you hole poker.
Also, SCOTUS denied CERT in the Peruta case. Concealed carry is still
mayno issue, OC is banned in cali. Thomas and Gorsuch dissented.I really hope Trump gets two more picks. Since no one can stop him now, he should just nominate the most radical right wing nuts he can find. I volunteer to help with that selection, free of charge.
I know some people here were kicking napolitano around. Hell, put my name in I’m only 35 I would love to be a SCOTUS judge.
CNN Headline:
Needs Moar RUSSIA
You misspelled, “Unqualified NRA-backed stooge.”
Like they would give us any publicity.
You say that like it’s a bad thing.
You’re being accused as an NRA stooge or that CNN will never do an expose on this site?
I find no negatives in either, unless of course you ARE an NRA plant in which case, that $1 I gave to J&G ten years ago on your behalf should be all you get.
I only got like 16 cents from that dollar. I asked Wayne about it but he was snorting coke off a malaysian hooker’s back and I didn’t really get a good answer.
At least he spent it on something productive.
So much hate for the NRA. I think they’re an excellent lightning rod while more competent groups work in the shadows.
If one of us gets on the SC, do we submit our opinions in comment form?
You mean like this?
“Do you know anyone else that wanted to restrict firearms ownership on the basis of religion?”
Yes, and at least once per term, a case has to cite one of Sugarfree’s stories.
What about Roberts?
Justice Penaltax?

Related to the t-shirt in the third frame
You said that word “implication” a couple of times.
This is a verbatim passage I saved for posterity. There were very few creative liberties taken.
I wonder if Pompey ever orders the Caesar salad.
Awkward.
“Would you care for some fresh Pharsalus on that?”
*Sigh*
*Adds Pharsalus to reading list*
Not sure how you get from $12 an hour to $18.75/hour to cover the self-employment tax, which is 15.3% or $1.84/hour on $12/hour.
Now, if you want take-home of $12/hour, that’s not apples-to apples with a wage of $12/hour, which still has @ 8% withheld for SocSec and Medicare.
So, yeah, I’m kinda with the guy flipping off the applicant on this one.
Maybe he shouldn’t have changed shirts?
It’s awfully close to $15/hr +15.3%, with 8% on top.
I’m not even sure why a $12 an hour 1099 job would be worth it to anyone. Just go flip burgers or Work at Walmart where you get benefits and paid vacation, plus skip the hassle of filing taxes quarterly.
Did you NOT see “Snacks & beverage”?!?!?! “Flexible Schedule”!!!!!
Don’t forget qualifying healthcare and the penalty.
T-shirt Guy should do a comic phone bit– like he’s talking to an IRS accountant– right there in Hat Man’s office. Gold!
To Hyperion: Even more extensive coverage of 6th District prog tears…people in unfathomable sadness…over one fucking congressional seat. One. Can you imagine what the scenes will look like if they lose more Senate and House seats next year?
And they wonder why people are saying they’re like overgrown toddlers? I expect them to now start doing even crazier stuff like mailing death threats to Justice Kennedy if he hints at retirement. I really don’t need to give them these ideas, do I?
They haven’t already? You sure that Antifa hasn’t made plans yet?
I still find is hard to come to grips with people spending huge chunks of their lives trying to get someone else elected.
I didn’t want to endure Gov. Terry McAuliffe, but you didn’t see me bawling my eyes out when the sonofabitch won. What is wrong with these people?
Oh, they are going to lose some. I am expecting endless wails of despair and doom and more calls for violence. Some will answer those calls. It is going to be messy.
Did HuffPo do away with comments?
I hope so. The ones on the Scalise shooting made me want to open terrorism charges on half the country.
I couldn’t find their comment section, I was seeking for peak derp in the SCOTUS travel ban ruling.
The comments section is still there, but it’s in that convo bubble icon below the envelope icon.
Ah, I see it now. I was worried that HuffPo was going to set millions of retards loose on the internet with nowhere to go.
Here, feel better Hyperion?
<fx: shoe0nhead-like slurping sounds> nommnommnommm, yummy!
After 3 years and maybe 2-3 more Trump appointments on the Supreme Court we will be lucky if Manzanar isn’t up and running again, if slavery isn’t reinstated
Why are they so afraid of Trump doing things that Dems used to do?
Principals.
Our 1st native Progspeaker on the line: “Well, it would not surprise me if they rule in favor of this ban. It seems that we are living in the kind of times where fear, which invaribly [sic] leads to loathing, is the dominant emotion these days.
Personally, I’m not afraid of brown people showing up. I’m not afraid of other languages, and though many families can indeed trace when they ancestors got off the boat many in America have roots going back much further to much more murky time…..a time when you got here how you got here, be it as a passenger, as a explorer, as a convict, as a conquistador, as a indentured worker, as a colonist, as a slave.
However, in these reductionist times the Court may simply just uphold this ban and go along with this nativist sentiment that it is all about getting here “the right way”. It seems to be the direction the country is going.”
Probably. They were worried about the increasingly difficult task of keeping their articles better informed and less retarded than the comments.
Better than Chip Bok.
Needs more labels.
Very low bar.
538 on Seattle’s minimum wage:
Seattle’s Minimum Wage Hike May Have Gone Too Far
Crucially, the negative impact of lost jobs and hours more than offset the benefits of higher wages — on average, low-wage workers earned $125 per month less because of the higher wage, a small but significant decline.
See, not a big deal. $125 is not a lot of money to low-wage workers.
yeah, what’s 20% off your monthly salary? Nobody needs that pack of cigarettes or internet, right?
“It’s hardly anything at all! That’s less than what I spend on mani-pedis in a month. But the peasants seem to think it’s a big deal.”
The next time I hear some moron ask why conservatives hate poor people I may just break their legs.
I saw it again on Twitter today. Why are most artists so stupid?
Why are most artists so stupid?
Because they make a living peddling immersive fiction? That’s my theory for the high level of leftist sympathy on the part of the creative class, that people who tell pleasant lies for a living (i.e. create engaging works of fiction) have a more difficult time separating reality from fantasy.
Because of the same reason the entire parasite class is so stupid. They are allowed to because of…ENABLERS. You can be a total POS, as long as there is someone there to carry your water. See Bush…See Obama, Clinton(s), Schumer, Pelosi, McConnell, Waters, Johnson, etc adfinitum.
“Well then, let’s pass a law forcing employers to give their employees more hours!”
*restaurant closes*
“Well then, let’s pass a law forcing owners to keep their restaurants open!”
*owner goes into extreme debt, shoots self in head, dies*
“This is why we need common-sense gun control!”
It’s like a documentary on Venezuela.
“This is John Galt speaking.”
Look, they might make $125 less, but at least they can hold their heads up high knowing that they’re being paid fairly for their work.
and now that they can’t afford car insurance, they can bike to work!
I assume the “lost jobs and hours” were due to some kind of outside Republican interference, because I’ve been assured repeatedly that raising the minimum wage does not in and of itself ever have that effect.
Wasn’t there in fact a recent “study” on how Seattle didn’t lose any jobs at all to their new minimum wage?
I don’t know who to believe any more, and I just can’t even..
California hates travel bans, except when it doesn’t. Here’s new Cali AG Becerra doing yeoman’s work in preserving the Kamala Harris legacy:
Just like they hate walls, except when they don’t.
We need to build a wall to keep them out
The Santa Ana Riverbed looks like a small town with all the Homeless, right off the 57 south in OC Cali
In other wall related news.

Feminist self-hate has reached genocidal proportions.
Beyond Pro-Choice: The Solution to White Supremacy is White Abortion
I am 80% sure that site is satire by just reading the article titles.
Hard to even tell anymore. The SJWs are just too much like parody on their own.
I found one of the writer’s Twitter account. Seems like a true believer to me, or plays like a damn good feminist.
Most of the authors don’t seem to have an internet presence, or suddenly appeared earlier this year. That screams Poe. That Twitter account is so paint-by-numbers it fails the ideological Turing test.
I fully support the Lena Dunhams of the world having abortions. I prefer they sterilize themselves, but I’ll take what I can get.
I think I’ve stumbled into the motherload of all derp.
Just the headlines are amazing. If this the Onion version of feminism, it’s brilliant.
This article is clearly a mocking Poe.
Googling shows a bunch of people claiming the site is registered to one Elijah Adiasany, an anti-SJW who founded another site called ‘Age of Shitlords’.
Age of Shitlords
Wasn’t that on sale on Steam recently?
Go to your room and narrow-gaze yourself, young man!
Prolly a hoax.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/whyevolutionistrue.wordpress.com/2017/06/24/medusa-magazine-website-is-probably-a-hoax/amp/
If so, bravo!
I think reductress is as well. But all my feminist facederps like them, so I can’t really tell.
Oh good. Do they have comments? If they do it’s another lefty website for me to get banned from.
Well, they have this:
DERP
but when a man masturbates to a woman he know in real life without her consent, that is telepathic rape. It’s sick. It even affects the victim although she may be unaware but it lowers her energy.
Makes perfect sense to me.
I just want to know how that’s enforced. The fap police? Seriously.
If a woman feels telepathically jizzed upon…
I am pretty sure that is a parody.
Jesus, found this derp on Sargon’s reddit where they’re discussing this article:
Well, the range of possible positions on abortion is indeed not binary.
We have two axes — being for or against abortion itself and being for or against choice.
So we have:
Pro-abortion, pro-choice
Pro-abortion, anti-choice
Anti-abortion, anti-choice
Anti-abortion, pro-choice
Usually the debate is presented as 1 vs 3. Sometime you will hear people discuss 4, i.e. they don’t like abortion but will not interfere with other people’s choice.
You pretty much never hear about 2.
The problem is that 2 is in fact the only viable option at the moment, which in turn is because the world is vastly overpopulated and population needs to be reduced by at least 90%. And will be with 100% certainty, the question is how — we can do this the easy way (which involves forced abortions, sterilizations and infanticide) or the hard way (which involves wars, genocides, famines, natural disasters and diseases, plus irreversible collapse of civilization thrown in as a bonus).
None of that has anything to do with race though, especially given that the highest fertility and strongest pro-natalist and anti-abortion sentiments are to be found in the areas of the world with the fewest white people.
This brilliant guy thinks that global population has to cap at what it was around 1700 or we’re all doomed.
you first
I hate that Malthusian BS, it’s been debunked so many times that one wonders after how it is even still floated by serious people without ridicule. (not saying the commenter is a serious person, just that I have heard it floated to many times to count by credentialed people when talking about future challenges.
He called someone a ‘deluded lunatic’ who denies ‘the basic laws of physics’ for basically saying what you just did. I’m going with he’s serious and just a typical deranged Reddit technocrat.
Physics? For real? GAH! These people deserve whatever world they create.
Malthusian ideas keep floating around because it has a germ of truth: there is a physical limit to everything, so there is a cap to how many people this planet can support. The problem with the Malthusians is not that they believe that there’s a cap, but that they believe that they know what it is and that we’ve reached it (or even will reach it). Given current population trends predicting a leveling off of population before we hit 20 billion, the Malthusian problem will be pretty much avoided. So yes, as you say, it has been debunked, but like all the most persistent bad ideas it will continue to find followers because there is some small shred of truth in it to which people can cling.
Fair point, and I think that some people follow the logic you lay out, but I think a good few know that it feels right or sounds right so they appeal to it for their own totalitarian causes.
Malthus is back.
Are we still sure there’s no peak derp? From DU, my new fav.
RUSSIAN.SLUSH.IT.REAL!
Although… Twitler, I am sooo stealing that.
Of course there’s no such thing as peak derp. I’m guessing devolution of intelligence at some point.
Twitler is by far the only good nickname they’ve managed to come up with. It’s actually clever, until Drumpf or the Cheeto jokes.
I think General Cheeto is pretty dece. But Drumpf is so unfunny it’s excruciating.
I got a laugh out of Darth Cheeto a few days ago.
I’ve seen cheeto the tweeto, meh. The left is good at screeching, not so much at wit
Twitler – not bad.
I still like Donny Two-Scoops. Its got that NYC borough vibe to it. I swear there was another nickname for Trump here recently that was also good, but I can’t recall it.
Trump spent… what, 1/3 as much as Clinton? He spent like 1/5th that of (@#*$@ Jeb!
watching ignorant people try and explain things to each other is painful.
You say painful , I say hilarious
Russian slush is ten times more potent than American slush.
well the russians spent that money at tractor pulls and NASCAR events.
fucking rednecks.
Well, no shit. They put quite a bit more vodka in it.
I think when you counted Trump + outside support compared to Clinton + outside support, the gap narrowed to Trump’s side spending only 1/2 as much as Clinton. Still, the fact that anyone still claims, with a straight face, that money is some irresistible influence on elections is laughable.
Congressional ‘pubs didn’t confirm Garland for the same reason Obama didn’t fire Comey: because it makes more sense to push these things off and fight about them later, to make a liability of them for your opposition. Obama could have retaliated and shitcanned Comey, and nobody in the Democratic base would have objected: he was political cancer, he cost Hillary the election (in their minds, anyway; Hillary and Podesta hadn’t yet crafted the Russia narrative), and he was suddenly beloved of Republicans who’d somehow forgotten his trespasses mere months earlier. But it made more sense for Obama to float that fireship into Trump’s harbor, in the event Trump won, and make Trump deal with the consequences. Otherwise Clinton would quietly replace him and nobody would blink.
Sure, Republicans could have confirmed Garland, hoping to head off a worse pick by Clinton, but they’d have had to deal with the wrath of their already incensed base, and in any event the pick would have been useful for political horsetrading under Clinton.
