It is a little known fact that the Hip-Hop duo ‘Kris Kross’ invented the term X-mas, a phrase that is used in many English speaking countries to abbreviate ‘christmas’.
Makes sense.
Hey DEG. Per our beer conversation yesterday, do you have a couple English IPAs you would recommend to check out that style?
The best English IPA I’ve had was one I picked up in Canada, and the brewery doesn’t distribute to the United States. If you’re interested, here it is.
I think Yards changed their IPA recipe. I remember it used to be English style, but I’ve noticed it has changed, otherwise I’d recommend Yards.
While they don’t have an IPA, Cooper’s from Australia makes an excellent Pale Ale. If you can find some, give them a shot.
Sam Smith’s has an IPA which I remember trying and liking, but I don’t see it on my list of rated beers on Beeradvocate. Odd.
Oh, I almost forgot. A coworker, in lieu of money for some stuff I sold him, gave me beer. This was among the beer. I liked it, unusually for me with American IPAs.
Thanks, I appreciate it! I’m always looking to branch out, but have had little success with IPAs.
My wife’s cousin lives in Canada just over the MI border, might be able to score the Rouge’s. At least next time I visit, I’ll have a quest to look forward to:)
Nice! Hopefully your wife’s cousin can help.
Her husband always has me get him beer from the duty free store at the ferry when we visit so I’m sure he won’t mind helping me out.
I’ve never had a Samuel Smith’s I didn’t like so I’ll definitely be looking for that one
Wait, what happened to the bent over girl?
Yeah. Riot!
Pussy Riot!

Trying to keep the morale up with the orphans I see. Nice job, just don’t spoil them too much. Those diamonds aren’t going to mine themselves. Merry Christmas to you and yours as well.
Shouldn’t those kids be polishing monocles?
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Lach, a full house is a fun house!
You fail all* of the diversity tests, evil shitlord.
*almost
Race and gender are social constructs, therefore every group of people are diverse.
Happy holidays from another lurker!

Thanks…Tulpa.
Merry Christmas! Here’s some indie rock downer Christmas music for you. Mojave 3: Candle Song 3 https://youtu.be/DrwvpDu8OaA

Merry Christmas to Glibs and may their orphans have a busy night. (My orphans are already wrapping and assembling)
I did all my gift-giving already, except for Dad who’s finding his bottle of wine on the table in the breakfast nook tomorrow morning.
I’m looking forward to some Kitty later as well.
Those pearls are hawt.
I bet her teeth come out too!
Happy Christmas eve, shitlords.

She said/she said. Plus race card!
She paid for that seat, with miles!
As opposed to Her Highness’ seat, which you and I paid for.
I want my money back
You want that in Miles?

This is good,
https://www.realclearscience.com/articles/2017/12/23/hg_wells_vs_george_orwell_a_scientific_debate_for_the_ages_110498.html
I know I’ve bleated on about this before, but what that article doesn’t highlight is that Wells wasn’t merely some technocrat whose enthusiasm for science had political implications. Wells was an active and prominent member of the British Fabian Society, a politcal caucus of intellectuals within the British system with decidedly eugenicist leanings, and intellectual godparents of the Ba’athist and Arabic Socialism. To this day, I can’t think of any senior members of the British Labor movement who weren’t identified as Fabians.
The Fabians included many recognizable intellectuals of the time, including the hugely talented, but repulsive George Bernard Shaw, who was an avid eliminationist. Interesting article here.
If you want to see what a world run by Top Men would look like, study the Fabian Society.
I first heard of the Fabians and GBS from Glen Beck, Wells too huh? I find myself leaning Hard Orwell on this one, Socialist or not, He saw the writing on the wall.
That’s a Kurt Eichenwald seizure waiting to happen.
Are there any realtors among the glibertariat? I have a Costco going in about 200 feet from my property and I’m interested in opinions on the likely effects on my property’s value.
Zoned residential? Worthless.
Zoned commercial? Worth more.
Probably not worthless.
If a Costco is 200 feet away residential zoning can probably changed to commercial.
Residential. I’m waiting to see what the realtor comes back with before we decide to jump ship, but we’re certainly leaning that way.
