  • Easter Morning Links

  • Friday Afternoon Links, Good.

    Good Friday = Good links? Eh, you be the judge of that.  Everyone here at Glibertarians is mourning the death of our Lord and Savior (mostly by drinking or burning one) – except (((OMWC))) who is quaffing wine and chuckling, most evilly. Bah. But be that as it may, here are some links.

    • Some folks get a mite enthused by Good Friday.

    • I had no idea Japan even had the death penalty – but it looks like it might get used in this case.

    So…rain here for most of the day. I fully expect taunting about either clear and warm weather. Or maybe snow you can ski. I would think the less of all of you did you not.

  • Palm Sunday Noon Links

    Being Palm Sunday and all, the Links are at Noon, rather than earlier. It had NOTHING to do with the overeating, one too many beers and sleeping so late I had no time for links this morning whilst rushing to make it to church service. Really. Honest. … OK, maybe it did. A bit.

    Anyhow, here are some links for you to bat around for a while.

  • Saturday Afternoon (Swiss) Links

    Solid money. Rock solid.

    Grüezi mitenand. Today we will have links about the Confederatio Helvetica. They will be neat, orderly and on time. One could say like a Swiss watch. And, if they did, I would chuckle and down some kirschwasser. Proschtli!

    • Switzerland is quite tight with its’ citizenship, but chock full of foreigners. I knew 2 of the three places you find most of them without even giving much thought. See if you can guess all three.
    • At least one canton has its head on straight. Zug, baby, Zug.
    • I might not care about soccer (football, whatever) but even Swiss amateurs get fightin’ mad about it.
    • Swiss newspapers/news sources. Most in German, some French or Italian. A few in English. I love the sometimes bitchy and gossipy tone of Inside Paradeplatz (warning – in German) and wish the American business press was more like them. [Examples: A story about the top 3 executives at a small bank, Raiffeisen, has a headline with them crying “bullshit” at the news of huge bonuses for themselves. The article is really snippy, mmmm! Second, and more delicious, the paper gets in many digs at the Swiss financial regulator, FINMA, because the head of the agency has twice left his wife for another woman….at the business he was a top exec of at the time. Can you imagine some US paper ragging the SEC chief over his or her personal life…non-stop? Yeah, me neither.]

    And there you have it. Now, here is a picture of cheese.

    Late you say? Hmmm. I will speak with the manager – I am sure we can get you a few free comment washes to make up for your trouble.

    • Turk sites engaging in online bashing Germany? Say it ain’t so! You know who else…?

    • Well, if naught else, this is a certain indicator that Trump #$%&ed up.

    WAR Links! What is it good for? Absolutely…..very little?  OK, these links might be a bit off my usual fluff, Daily Fail and Gibraltar fascination (unless maybe the Russians threaten to attack Gibraltar! Hmmm….). Anyhow, here are some links fer ye.
